En el marco del Festival SURPAS, celebrado en Port Bou (Catalunya) en su edición de 2009, fuimos invitados a llevar acabo un taller de documental colectivo. A las sesiones se sumaron gente del pueblo y participantes del festival. Se elaboraron distintas piezas de temáticas diversas elegidas durante las jornadas del festival que dieron como resultado el ensamblaje de una pieza de 22 minutos que repasan desde aspectos de la vida en esta población de la costa catalana, fronteriza con Francia, hasta momentos y hechos propios de la actividad del festival en esos días.

La herramientas empleadas para la edición del material fueron Open Movie Editor y Cinelerra.

El Festival SURPAS fue un tristemente desaparecido encuentro que durante sus ediciones promovio y sirvió de plataforma de muestra y difusión de contenidos, herramientas y conceptos de la cultura libre.
