Ahfad-media es un proyecto de implementación de las TIC's en ámbito de la formación academica. El proyecto se puso en marcha entre los meses de Julio y Agosto de 2011 en el Regional Institute of Gender, Diversity, Peace and Rights en el marco de la Ahfad University of Women (Omdurman, Sudan). El objetivo fue la puesta en marcha de un medialab y un espacio web (ahfad-media.net) destinados a la producción de contenidos audiovisuales como herramientas de apoyo a la formación. Para ello se llevaron a cabo talleres con dos grupos de alumnas del centro y otro de personal docente y administrativo del mismo con el objeto de formarlas en el uso del lenguaje audivisual, la edición y posproducción audiovisual con software libre (kdenlive) y el uso de la web (drupal CMS) como plataforma de publicación de contenidos.

Este proyecto fue fruto de la colaboración entre trayectos.org y FAAQ y contó con la financiación del CICODE (Centro Internacional de Cooperación al Desarrollo de la Universidad de Granada).
